Austin Mercado is Senior Engagement Director at PRECISIONxtract. Austin has nearly 2 decades of industry experience, including sales leadership, brand management, digital marketing, strategy, operations, and analytics.

In his current role, Austin is an account lead on the Personalized Access Team and manages the deployment of HCP and Non-personal resources that enable maximum brand commercial potential. He works hand in hand across multiple teams to ensure the integration of omnichannel solutions to realize the value proposition of the brand. Austin has a wealth of experience working across various therapeutic areas, including respiratory, neuroscience, rheumatology, dermatology, cardiovascular, Hepatitis and HIV.

Prior to joining Precision, Austin worked at GSK for 15 years in several US and global brand marketing and sales leadership roles, most recently in respiratory marketing. In this role he led the field engagement, pull through, and LOE strategy for a blockbuster respiratory brand. Austin led various teams responsible for product launches in sales, marketing, and operational roles.

Austin attended University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. He received his MBA from the University of Miami.
